Teacher’s Day and Fresher’s Day celebration of Gurukul Lutheran Theological College & Research Institute were jointly organized via ZOOM Online Meeting on September 04, 2021 at 10.00.a.m. by the entire student body. The occasion began with a word of prayer offered by Rev. Dr. Wilson Paluri, the Chaplain. The Student Body President, Mr. V. Vishwanth Jeyaraj, gave the welcome address and greeted the virtual gathering. As an important segment of the gathering of celebrating the Teacher’s Day, two students on behalf of the entire student community felicitated the teachers namely, Ms. Kanimuthu Selvi (BD. IV) and Rev. Rajesh J. Charles (M.Th. II)and shared their gratitude.Rev. Dr. Songram Basumatary, the Principal, responded to the Student Community and shared his student life experience and highlighted the changes he experienced as a teacher. Following him, Rev. Dr. Nelavala Gnana Prasuna, UG Dean also responded to the student community by sharing her teaching experience. As part of the program a virtual special song was rendered by the M.Th. I and II students. After which, a brief introduction about the freshers – the first year B.D., M.Th. and D.Th. students – wasgiven through a PPT presentation. The Student Secretary Mr. Maneesh V. pronounced the vote of thanks and Rev. Dr. Mervin Shinoj Boas, the Faculty Advisor of Student Body and PG Dean, concluded the program with a word of prayer and benediction.
