Gurukul resolutely promotes academic research that contributes to the theological world. The Faculty Students Research Seminar conducted twice a month throughout the academic year is a testament to this fact. All faculty members of Gurukul from different departments regularly present research papers on contemporary theological issues from intra and/or interdisciplinary perspective.The critical response to each paper by a deputed faculty memberand participation of the resident Doctoral Research Scholars and M.Th. Students enrich this rigorous academic exercise. The scholarly papers presented in the seminars enhance and kindle academic discourses and critical thinking in theological academia.These critically acclaimed and peer reviewed research papers are eventually published in the Gurukul Journal of Theological Studies. Dr. Watimongla Jamir serves as the Convenor of the Faculty Research Seminar and the Editor of the Gurukul Journal of Theological Studies.
